  • Word-to-PDF conversion enhancements - The Syncfusion Word Library includes the following enhancements to accurately convert any Microsoft Word document to a PDF file:
    • Added the ability to preserve a picture as a fill for a shape as it is in the input Word document.
    • Improved rendering of Thai and Chinese characters.

  • Performance improvements - This release includes the following significant improvements:
    • The PDF Library converts PDF to PDF/A format 2.5 times faster than before.
    • Annotation flattening is now 30 times faster.
  • Convert PDF/A conformance document to normal PDF document - The PDF library now supports converting the PDF/A conformance PDF document to a normal PDF document. It helps to remove the long-term archiving from PDFs and add any additional content on that PDF file.
  • Embed non-embedded fonts in an existing PDF document - The PDF library now supports embedding the non-embedded fonts from the existing PDF file. By embedding non-embedded font, the PDF file will be preserved properly on other readers such as Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mobile viewers, and more. It converts the following non-embedded fonts to the embedded one.
    • PDF standard fonts.
    • TrueType fonts.

  • Performance Improvements - This release includes the following significant performance improvements:
    • The PDF Viewer component renders the pages up to 70% faster now based on the contents.
    • It searches the given text in a PDF document 90% faster now.
  • Coordinates conversion - This feature allows you to obtain the PDF page coordinates relative to the PDF Viewer’s client coordinates and vice versa.
